Otxote Lurra is a professional vocal group, formed by 9 artists stemming from various French operatic scenes.

This choral formation's structure is the original for men's choirs in the Basque Country, and consist in eight singers and a choirmaster.

Lurra's objective is to promote Basque culture and to share it beyond the borders of Euskadi. Something we'll try to achieve by researching, selecting and developing the vocal patrimony.

If these songs succeed in passing on the emotion, beauty and strength of Basque Culture, then they give evidence not only of the richness of its language (the most ancient of Europe) and the force of its traditions, but also of its openness.
Strengh, richness and openness, that is the image of the Basque country which we wish to transmit.
